True Nutrition has expanded its vegetarian and vegan product base once again with another non-dairy complete protein powder, our new Rice Protein Concentrate! The product is hypo-allergenic, easily digestible, and great tasting. The material is derived from non-GMO whole grain brown rice, with an amino acid profile correlation of 97% as compared to a Whey protein.

Directions

As a dietary supplement, mix 1-2 servings of material in 12-16 floz of your favorite beverage. Stir, and enjoy!

Packaging

The order quantity will be combined in to a single container when possible based on the total volume of material ordered, or split in to several containers when needed unless otherwise requested by the customer. The EZ-Seal Upright Mylar Bag option contains a standard 70cc scoop, is resealable, and will be heat-sealed for your protection. The Plastic Jug option contains a standard 70cc scoop, an interior lining, and will be heat-sealed for your protection.

As for flavor and mixability, it's not so great. I bought Vanilla (heavy x2, non-premium,w/sweetener) and while it's not offensive, it's a bit plain and some tends to settle at the bottom of the glass or mixer. But I mix it with pea protein (which tastes better imo), and since the price is right and I believe the quality is too, I can't rip on it because I'm glad TN offers this as an option. If this were my sole protein tho, I don't think I would enjoy my shakes very much, and would recommend atleast a premium flavoring if that is a concern.

Bought it unflavored. It's a little coarse, and doesn't really thicken in a blender like whey protein. The taste is pretty bland, so it doesn't alter the taste of other ingredients much. On the plus side, it works well in a soup stock, gravy, stew or other cooked savory foods where whey or soy is just not an option. I'll buy it again.

NASTY NASTY NASTY! I liked SOY (cheaper) and WHEY (little more) I bought 1 pound to try the new "rice" because, honestly I like rice. I do not like rice protein... just my opinion.
