So what is Malic Acid? Malic Acid is used in the food processing industry as a "tart" or "sour" agent. The easiest description is remember those sour gummy candies or any super sour candies growing up, that had almost a powder like consistancy on the outside of the candy. That sour outside powder was Malic Acid... A great use of this material is in our fruity type flavors used in conjunction with harsh bad tasting supplements. Malic Acid is great at masking bitter or off tasting materials. And a small amount goes a long way (250mg-500mg), try just a few pinches of this material per shake at first and add more to your taste.
As a dietary supplement, add 250mg to food or drink.
